Interview do’s and don’ts
In my film about the do’s and don’ts of going to an interview, I will be collecting images of the clothes that will be suitable for an interview and the things that wont be suitable to wear for a job interview. For example I will be showing that colour that should be worn will be all black, or black a white will respectful shoes. And the on the other side of things I will be showing what not to wear, for example clothes that are really reviling like short skirts and low tops will be unacceptable to your appearance at the interview. Also in my pictures I will show how much make-up would be suitable for a job interview to much will look bad. From these pictures you will get an idea of how you appear at your interview in good standards.
In the interview it’s best to ask your employer questions about the job your being interviewed for, so some questions that you might ask could be ; how many hours will I be doing in my shift ? ; What time do I start what time do I finish ? ; What would be the most suitable thing wear or if you would have to wear uniform?. Some things you wouldn’t ask would be ; How much will I be paid for the job ? Or ; how much does your company pay ? .
The night before your interview it’s best to prepare well for the morning ahead, as you would want to make a good impression to your employer.
So the best thing to do to prepare for you interview would be to ; get a list of questions to ask your employer about everything you want to know about the job, but make sure the questions are suitable to ask. Another thing you could do to prepare for your interview the night before could be to ; get all your clothes ready suitable to wear the for the morning, the clothes you could get ready would be something like, black trousers with a white or black top.
In your interview the interpersonal qualities you should show would be for example ; your dress, the way you talk ( be polite ) , make sure you are clean, and the way how you sit would be a good qualities. The qualites you shouldn’t show are ; you don’t go unclean (so don’t go in an old pair of jeans and an old horrible top , or go and slouch in a chair chewing bubble gum it just the simple things like this you should show or do as an interpersonal quality.
The skills you should bring to the interview would be a good understanding of the job your are being interviewed for and the company, and a good communication relationship with your future employer. The skills your shouldn’t bring would be, showing no interested, showing up late and showing bad manors.
